Wellhead Equipment and Technologies

Wellhead equipment consists of three main components: the casing head, the tubing head, and the Christmas tree. It connects the casing string and the tubing string, seals the annular spaces between different casing strings and between the casing and the tubing, controls the well pressure, regulates the flow of oil or gas, and can also be used for specialized operations such as fracturing, water injection, and well testing. |
